Flower events cancelled & postponed due to Coronavirus Due to the spread of the coronavirus around the world and as movement is restricted and gatherings of large numbers of people are banned, a number of industry trade fairs have been postponed or cancelled. Below is the most recent status.
- IFTEX Nairobi 2020 has been postponed, the original dates of June 3rd to June 5th will be moved to October 13th to October 15th, 2020.
- Chelsea Flower show London The Royal Horticultural Society announced that the event, which had been due to take place on May 19-23, will no longer happen in 2020
- World Orchid Conference to be announced World Orchid Conference was due to take place in Waipu, Taiwan March 9-18, 2020 the new date for the event is still to be announced.
- Flower Expo China has been postponed Flower Expo China, Guangzhou, China was to take place between March-16-18, 2020 has now been postponed until May 11-13, 2020.
- World Floral Expo in New York, USA was due to take place between March 23-27, 2020 and has been postponed until March 10-12, 2021.
- Flower Expo Ukraine has been postponed. Flower Expo Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine, was to take place between April 8-10 2020. The show has been postponed to May 26-28, 2020.
- Hortiflorexpo IPM Beijing has been postponed Hortiflorexpo IPM Beijing, Beijing, China was to take place between April 20-22, 2020 has been postponed until September 17 – 19 2020.
- Horti Asia has been postponed. Horti Asia, Bangkok, Thailand, was to take place between May 5-7, 2020, has been postponed untill October 14-16, 2020.
